It was the inaugural club-wide End of Season celebration for all our players, parents, coaches, volunteers and wider community.
A day to remember with lots of laughs and good times – we celebrated all of our players with age group speeches and some of our players with awards. This season was full of ‘firsts’ as well as successes on the pitch. We had many fantastic team bonding memories, too, with our first Youth tour to Bangkok, a return to our beloved Minis festival, a big win at Richard Hawkes for our U12 Boys and much more.
At our End of Season celebration, Valley Fort’s Director of Rugby, Justin Carroll, also took the opportunity to recognise some of the older players and ensured our younger players understood what it meant by ‘rugby values’. Many of our U18 players embody exactly that and what Valley Fort aims to do is cultivate strong ‘rugby values’ both on and off the pitch.
