Good afternoon,

I hope that you are all enjoying your summer.

I’ll be brief – please read the below from Robbie McRobbie, CEO of the Hong Kong Rugby Union and then print, sign and return the attached letter to the Town Planning Board before 4th August.

I appreciate that many people are away but if you’ve got access to a printer please do act. Take a picture of the signed letter and send it to the email address above. It will take 5 mins and it would be greatly appreciated.

Info about season start etc. will come in the next two weeks.

Subject: Kai Tak Metro Park

Dear All,

I am writing on behalf of the HKRU to see if you would be willing to submit a letter to the Town Planning Board in support of a previous representation we made asking for open space to be retained at the Kai Tak development – the Government are now seeking to reduce the size of the proposed Metro Park, which would mean less area for leisure and sports activities. (Please note this is not connected to the new Kai Tak Stadium project).

We have objected on the basic principle that we would like to see more land designated for sport and recreation wherever possible – if you would like to show your support you can use the template letter attached and return to the Town Planning Board at before 4th August.

Thanks for your consideration,

Robbie McRobbie|CEO|Hong Kong Rugby Union
