Become a Ball Retrieval Team member for the 2010 – 2011 season by joining the ball retrieval team course.
Details of Ball Retrieval Team Course – please select either date
Criteria for attendees:
- Currently or have previously been involved in rugby at club level
- Good knowledge of rugby laws
- Aged 10 and above
Course 1
Date: Saturday 11th September
Venue: Kings Park Sports Ground
Time: 1230 -1330 (theory session), 1300 – 1500 (practical session)
Course 2
Date: Saturday 25th September
Venue: Tai Hang Tung Recreation Ground
Time: 1430 – 1530 (theory session), 1530 – 1630 (practical session)

2010 SUMMER EVENTS
- The HKRFU is running rugby courses for kids during the summer holiday. The Youth Summer Course enrolement finishes on 25 June – 7 locations to choose from this year, great activity to keep the kids busy over the holidays, click here for more… http://www.hkrugby.com/en/courses-and-programmes/summer-courses.html.
- This coming Friday a HK XV will play the Welsh Barbarians (called Crawshays) at Foootball Club at 7pm. Free entry and a promise of open 'festival' rugby. There are several name players in the Crawshays squad including British lion Dafydd James. Click HERE for the flyer!
PHOTO - Cheque raised at the Charity Auction
The photo below shows Bob Taylor handing a cheque for $24,843 to Karen Seymour who was representing the charity 'Room to Read'. This money was raised in the charity auction at the Dinner Dance in March 2010. The money raised will put 10 girls to school for a year to give them a brighter future.

PHOTOS of the Valley Fort Kit Donations to Rwanda
These pictures show the team from Rwanda who came over for the HK7s and competed in the East Kowloon 10s competition - while they were here several HK clubs, including Valley Fort, donated kit to them to take back to Rwanda. The photos say it all!!
