Dear All,

Please click HERE for the application form for the LCSD "Summer Youth Training Rugby Scheme". The course will include a "Minis Section" (6-11 years) and a "Colts Section" (12-18 years). The course will be divided into 2 phases, with Phase 1 for beginners focusing on basic rugby skills, while Phase 2 will be for graduates of Phase 1 and players with limited experience. Phase 1 will commence in mid-July, with Phase 2 in early August.

There are 6 regional venues - please see application form for details (we didn't get much choice with venues...). Please note that if you prefer English language coaching we have designated the Shatin centre (Hin Tin Sportsground for Phase 1 and Ma On Shan Sportsground for Phase 2) as our principal bilingual centre, although you are welcome to join other centres if you wish where a more limited number of English-speaking coaches will be available.

We would be most grateful if you can help circulate the application form to all club members and any other interested parties. To maximise the chance of successful recruitment for your club, we are happy to provide as many hard copies of the application form as you require - you might like to think about distribution to estates in your catchment area, placing in local restaurants & bars, or even distribution on the street!

To aid with club recruitment, we would invite each mini or colts club to send along one older player to assist with the coaches - a special complimentary t-shirt and certificate will be provided. If your club would like to participate, please contact Purple on purple.leung@hkrugby.com and let her know which centre and age group you would like to assist with.
