COACHES BRIEFING:  Sunday 30th November 2008

  1. All squads should now be fully prepared for the Singapore Tour and the Sandy Bay Festival (you all now know whether you are playing in the morning or afternoon for the latter) including coaching structure, who will referee, play up/down notification, team make up, scorers, photographers etc; please ensure each of you emails me your results on Monday in the usual format (games played, won, lost, drawn, tries for, tries against)
  2. Each squad participating in Singapore needs to notify Carl by Tuesday of the number of players who would like to play in the Cup of Nations on Sunday morning
  3. Team entries as advised by each squad have been submitted to the Flying Kukris for their Festival on 14th December; we are waiting for confirmation that they can accommodate all our requested teams due to limited pitch space and which teams will play in the morning or afternoon as we plan to organize buses
  4. Please prepare your team entries for the TPD Festival on 11th January and I suggest you start to get an idea for the DeA Tigers Festival on 15th February and the Football Club Festival on 8th March
  5. Please update your webpages and post your weekly reports and photos (especially those from Festivals)
  6. For those who ordered the field chairs through the Girl Scouts Association, we will be notified when they are available
  7. If anyone has yet to revert to Bob on those members of their squad able to deliver first aid services, please do so by the end of this week so he can finalise his list; it is very important that each squad has members who can help so please get as many as possible onto the First Aid courses
  8. Please revert to Hugh on his email regarding the L2 bolt on module as per his email
  9. Details for the Professional Sevens held at the Fort on 7th December are on the website…….it is a great day out with plenty of rugby and activities so encourage your members to get down
  10. Please ensure all are aware of the 2008 HKRFU Basic Wound Care procedures

Thanks
