I trust all Valley Fort squads had an enjoyable and successful DeAT Festival yesterday.

1. Please remember to send me your results by Tuesday night with the following info (this should be the same after each Festival including the Tour and Sevens): Played, Won, Drawn, Lost, Tries For, Tries Against
2. Please post your weekly report and photos asap
3. All those in the squads participating in the Singapore Tour should by now be on top of everything including team entries, participating players and their travel arrangements etc; Carl will be in touch regarding the Tour dinner on the Saturday night as he is organizing this (for those who ticked in the affirmative on the AnyTours booking form and have paid, AnyTours will refund this part as we have declined their event which was inadequate)
4. Thanks for the Sandy Bay team entries, those have now gone in and cannot be changed
5. On 9th December is the Flying Kukris Festival; whilst last year we were not invited along with 2 other clubs due to lack of space (subsequently we were invited due to another club dropping out), I am told we will be invited this year although there may be a restriction imposed on the number of teams we can enter per age group so keep a watching brief for more
6. When you receive details from Hugh on the various courses (coaching and/or refereeing), please ensure you encourage your squad to participate where appropriate
7. We will let you know the results of the discussions (hopefully by month end) regarding the Sevens ticket application but be aware that we will not be able to fulfill all applications due to a much lower proportion being allocated to Mini Rugby this year
