COACHES BRIEFING

Kung Hei Fat Choy! Welcome to your CNY break and hope you enjoyed your session yesterday.

 

  1. No training on 10th Feb
  2. Thanks for submitting your team entries for the FC Festival and the Sevens (U11 & U12 squads need to submit team lists in advance including highlighting any player medical conditions); please note that entries cannot be changed now so inform all that have committed that they need to show on the day. For the 7’s, team numbers will be as per regular Festivals with up to 3 subs per team (there will only be medals to cover this number)
  3. Please would Head Coaches advise whether they have any interest in participating in the Aberdeen Festival on 27th April; this is after our season has ended and is subject to invitation but the Club needs to decide if we will join if invited
  4. Coaches without kit must get it soon, particularly if you intend to join the players on the pitch at the 7’s showcase games and the March past; players without kit too must obtain a full strip
  5. Please ensure you put your equipment back in the clubhouse in an orderly fashion on a weekly basis
  6. Please remind parents in your squad to take their litter away each session….it is not our responsibility
  7. Remember the coaching seminar on 20th Feb organized by the Union
  8. The Clubhouse will be closed on 17th Feb
  9. Given the increase in playing numbers this season, please set your squad training parameters on a fair basis as some squads are taking too much space and restricting that available to others
  10. Please remind your parents to notify you of their attendance at the Club Dinner (give them a deadline) so you can respond immediately when requested on numbers from your squad
  11. Please prepare a list of the coaching (and refereeing) qualifications and course attendance of your team so you (and Hugh) knows who needs to do courses when they are next on
  12. Final call on coaches leaving/not returning next season so the Club can plan their thanks
  13. Carl will issue an email but we will be changing the awards given by the Club for each squad
