COACHES BRIEFING

SUNDAY 7th January 2007

Welcome back and a Happy New Year to all; I trust all had a good break and enter the second half of the season with renewed energy! Not much to report at this stage other than the following:

- We have finally received confirmation from the PLA that we can have the Fort on all our requested dates which is great news; this means that we will be at the Fort every Sunday at the usual times between now and the Sevens at the end of March with the exception of 21st January (TPD Festival), 18th February (CNY break) & 11th March (Football Club Festival)

- Please ensure you email me your team entries by Sunday night for the Tai Po Dragons Festival which is being held at King’s Park on 21st January so that the hosts can prepare the playing schedule

- Please also get back to me by Sunday night with your squad’s numbers for the proposed Coaches and partners (but not children) Junk Trip on Saturday 27th January; Carl and I will review next week when we have the final numbers as to whether the Junk Trip would be best or perhaps an alternative which can best accommodate what is now a pretty large coaching staff across the age groups

- Do get the word out about the availability of VF tracksuits (adults and children) as well as rucksacks at the clubhouse
