COACHES BRIEFING
Sunday 3rd February 2008
- Very pleased to report that I have not received any notifications of coaches not continuing next season following last week’s coaches report (deadline has passed guys!)
- Let me have your team entries for FC Festival (all squad know whether they will be playing in the morning or afternoon already) and 7’s by the end of this week please given Chinese New Year next week
- 7’s tickets will hopefully be given to clubs late Feb
- On the 7’s, gates will again open 15 mins before the first match on each day so squads to be ready to head straight for the pitches; 12 mins a game except for U11’s and U12’s which should be 15 mins; subject to numbers of teams, Friday matches will involve U6, U7 & U8’s and Saturday will involve U9’s, U10’s & U10 girls and maybe some U11 matches; the rest will be on Sunday
- We are awaiting confirmation from RFU but there may be some changes to the time of the March Past this year
- On 20th Feb an Aussie RFU coach will be doing a coach the coaches session at King’s Park so please cascade to your teams and contact Jane Tu at the Union if any are interested
- Hope all squads are getting tables put together for the Club dinner
- Please highlight to your squads the Bill Mason CNY Coaching School as can be found at the top of the opening page of the VF website
- Per Carl’s email, please err on the side of caution where injuries are concerned, particularly head injuries
- Please remind all that there is no training on 10th Feb
See you Sunday.
