A great
Hong Kong Sevens weekend even though England won the final!
Everyone enjoyed the March Past and on Saturday we won both
our games. VF1 started very slowly against HKU1 and we were
1-0 soon after the start. But we woke up after about five
minutes and scored 5 excellent tries, 4 through the backs.
VF2 dominated the early stages of their match against DEAT2
and were leading 3-0. But a good fight back by DEAT2 and with
the score at 3-2 VF2 had to hold out to win the match. So
final results as follows:
VF1 5 HKU1 1
VF2 3 DEAT2 2
A big thanks to all the boys for a wonderful
effort this season – our rugby has improved markedly
as the season progressed and we will be ready to step up to
another level next year. Thanks also to the Mums and Dads
who drag themselves out of bed early every Sunday morning
to bring you all to training or tournaments!
